Product Manager Amerisure Insurance

Craig Smith is a Product Manager at Amerisure’s headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He holds a critical position on the Sales Enablement team by managing the roadmap and product backlog for its core sales applications. In addition, Craig collaborates with information technology teams to deliver strategic capabilities for key users and leverages technology and innovation to drive business growth for the organization.

Craig leverages his experience in business analysis as well as a broad technical acumen to his Product Owner position. His extensive background in IT includes prior roles in Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, and Product Ownership. Craig has analyzed business needs for his Amerisure partners. He’s translated those needs into requirements and prioritized them, as well as led testing efforts and managed the release execution of key initiatives within Amerisure’s Field Marketing & Underwriting, Finance, Accounting, Stat Reporting, Premium Audit, and Risk Management teams.

Craig holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications from Michigan State University and a master’s degree specializing in database management and internet technology from Northwestern University. Craig and his family live in Commerce Township, Michigan and enjoy spending free time on the lake in the summer, biking in the spring and fall, and skiing in the winter.
