Dedra is a part of a multi-year Transformation effort to improve or replace an existing technology infrastructure. As part of the initiative, Dedra leads a team focused on preparing the organization and its business leaders for the Digital Transformation.
Her efforts will continue to enable sustainable change at Aflac with the development of an integrated business process framework, rule-based process modeling conventions, and ongoing collaboration with key business leaders, including those from Operations, Change Management, IT, and Human Resources. With alignment to Customer Experience and Business Architecture outcomes, Dedra and the business process management team are empowering Aflac to make informed decisions and realize measurable success.
Dedra holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Columbus State University and completed her undergraduate studies at Palm Beach Atlantic University with a bachelors in Management. Prior to Aflac, she worked in customer service in the aviation industry in West Palm Beach, Florida. In 2006, Dedra relocated to Columbus, Georgia home of Aflac Worldwide Headquarters. During her tenure at Aflac, Dedra has held multiple leadership roles including a two-year leadership rotation program, Managing Strategic Alliances, Managing B2B & Direct sales, and financial reporting.
