Ellina Shinnick is Chief Marketing Officer for HUB International, and is based in Chicago. She leads key initiatives to create brand awareness, generate leads for the sales organization, and support retention efforts.
The marketing team at HUB develops and executes omnichannel marketing campaigns focused on demonstrating HUB’s expertise in all matters of risk management, employee benefits and core insurance brokering/placement. Over the past year, Ellina has been focused on executing personalized marketing experiences leveraging consumer intent and buying propensity modeling. Most recently, Ellina led efforts to complete customer insight across HUB’s eight specialty focus areas. Based on this insight her team is developing marketing campaigns to establish HUB as the leading brand across multiple verticals.
During her tenure with HUB, Ellina has been instrumental in launching multiple national campaigns, including: EB “#letsdosomething,” PC “Broker Insight Report,” and Cyber “Strike Back At The Hack.”
In 2019, Ellina will continue to ground the marketing strategy in data to identify and target key buyers in the insurance brokerage space. She will be expanding distribution channels in order to connect with customers across the multitude of channels where they engage and shop, primarily in a mobile-first environment.
