Julie Wilkes is a Staff Vice President of Digital Experience & Product Engineering at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, a subsidiary of Anthem, Inc. She oversees digital product management for multiple platforms supporting various lines of business, market segments and audiences including insurance brokers, employer groups, individual plan members and sales associates. 

Julie has over 20 years of experience in product design and business development with a focus on defining solutions that communicate complex concepts in a simple and clear manner for users. Her previous positions include Special Advisor to the Chief Technology Officer at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services in Washington, DC, Vice President of Custom Solutions and other Product Management roles for US and European markets for Morningstar, Inc., a financial research company located in Chicago, IL.

In whatever spare time she has, Julie can be found hiking somewhere in Northeastern Georgia or the Western United States. 

Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Chicago and currently resides in Athens, GA.
