Peilin is the VP of Analytics for EXL Service, a global professional consulting firm focusing on advanced analytics and digital transformation to make sense of data and drive clients' business forward. Before EXL, Peilin was the VP of Analytics and Innovation for Gerber Life Insurance, a Western & Southern Financial Group company.

Peilin has extensive experience in the insurance industry, leading innovation, marketing, analytics, and transformation using data to quantitatively and systematically drive ROIs. Peilin led the Gerber Life organizational transformation through her strategic vision to modernize marketing, distribution, operations, contact center, and the technology stack. Peilin won the Novarica Impact Award for Data (judged by 60+ insurance CIOs), AdExchanger Best First-Party Data Strategy By a Marketer Award, and AdExchanger Best Technology (Finalist) Award for Gerber Life.

Peilin thrives on optimizing business performance through leading people and improving the world through gender parity. She is a member of CHIEF (a think tank built to drive more women into positions of leadership), an Advisory board member for DIGIN (shaping the future of Insurance), and the Women’s Venture Fund (advising and empowering women entrepreneurs). Peilin ran a Fairtrade company to support female artisans from developing countries before joining the insurance industry. Peilin is a frequent conference speaker on topics of data, insurance, AI/ML, work automation, high-value growth, and DEI.

Peilin has an MS in Technology Leadership from Brown University and a MA in Economics from The City University of New York. Outside of work, Peilin is an avid Soulcylist, foodie, and traveler.
