Stephanie Smith

Stephanie Smith is a design-led innovation specialist with experience leading and developing teams to create breakthrough innovative products, services, and customer experiences. She has a deep expertise in human-centered design methods, research, and capability building globally in financial services, CPG, consumer banking, manufacturing, mining, and healthcare. Stephanie is currently the Director of Strategic Design at Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, where she helps lead strategic vision and implementation for new digital experiences. Additionally, she has a passion for mentoring, developing, and teaching emerging design leaders and scaling the skillful application of design in business and has been an adjunct professor at the prestigious IIT Institute of Design since 2015.
