As a 25-year digital and brand marketing veteran, Tip has developed award-winning campaigns and experiences across multiple industries and touch points. In his current role as Vice President, Digital & Print Delivery, Tip is responsible for leading the creation and evolution of the strategy for Nationwide's pre-authenticated digital experiences, email marketing, marketing automation, search engine optimization (SEO) and print fulfillment and branded merchandise.
Prior to joining Nationwide, Tip was the Vice President, Enterprise Marketing at Cardinal Health where he was responsible for brand strategy, creative services and digital marketing for the Cardinal Health master brand. He also served on the steering committee for Cardinal Health’s Marketing MBA internship program and the company’s enterprise marketing council.
Before Cardinal Health, Tip was an executive director at Resource Interactive (now IBM IX) where he led a portfolio of clients, including Sherwin-Williams, Hewlett-Packard and Select Comfort among others. During his tenure there, his client work with HP was highlighted as a Forrester B2B Best Practice and the Sherwin-Williams mobile app was selected as one of the top 10 mobile apps of the decade by The Wall Street Journal.
Tip earned his undergraduate degree from the Ohio University, E.W. Scripps School of Journalism and an MBA from the Indiana University, Kelley School of Business. He has also taught digital marketing as an MBA course at The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business.
